Have been trying to get over my ex

My ex and I break up like 2 months ago, although we never see for the first month since we separated. We started seeing in school after a month and I still feel something for him. I tried so hard to forget about him but me seeing everyday keeps worsting the situation, one part of me still wants him, while the other part wants to move on. I’m really confused I don’t know what to do. I have been trying to avoid him, but the feelings are still there. I really love him, but I want to get over him. How can I get over him?

It’s completely understandable that you’re feeling confused and conflicted right now. Dealing with emotions after a breakup can be incredibly challenging, especially when you’re still seeing your ex regularly. It’s okay to still have feelings for your ex, even if you know you need to move on. Since you are still seeing your ex in school, try to limit your interactions with him as much as possible. This might mean avoiding certain places or social circles where you know you’ll run into him.

If you do have to interact with your ex, set clear boundaries to protect yourself emotionally. Healing from a breakup takes time. Be patient with yourself and trust that with time, the intensity of your feelings will lessen. If you’re finding it difficult to cope with your emotions or if you’re struggling to move on, consider seeking support from a counsellor. They can provide you with coping strategies and a safe space to process your feelings.

Remember that moving on from a loved one is a slow process, and it’s important to treat yourself with kindness as you go through it. your happiness and wellbeing should always come first.
